Found this site on a google search. Some good suggestions for sprinters, distance runners, throwers, jumpers, and vaulters looking to improve.
NCAA restricts bloggers
I found out that those who have press credentials from the NCAA and are covering NCAA events will be limited on the number of blogs they produce during an event. That is, there is now an "NCAA Blogging Policy" which reads as follows. I'm trying to figure out the rationale. Anyone know?

Drop 2 tenths in the forty yard dash in two weeks?

My best 40 was 4.9 (remember I was a lumbering offensive lineman). Now if I could've figured out how to get my 40 down to 4.7, maybe my coach would have let me carry the ball. Anyway, there is a way, read on.
Shot putters take note!

If you could add 50 pounds to your bench press max in three weeks, what would say about that? Shot putters and weightman and all track and field athletes, take note here.
20 inch vertical leap gain?

I'd imagine that a high jumper would jump for joy if he or she could leap like Spud Webb (at left) or add 20 inches to his or her vertical leap. I found this to explain how to jump higher...
